Raising a teenage daughter can be both rewarding and challenging. This fall, join us as we read and discuss Untangled: Guiding Teenage Girls Through the Seven Transitions into Adulthood by Dr. Lisa Damour, a trusted psychologist and parenting expert.

In Untangled, Dr. Damour explores the developmental milestones girls navigate on their journey from childhood to adulthood and helps parents better understand the emotional, social, and behavioral changes that often arise during the teen years.

Topics include:

• Navigating friendships and romantic relationships
• Building healthy independence
• Managing emotions and stress
• Developing self-esteem and body confidence
• Understanding the impact of social media
• Recognizing typical developmental behaviors versus signs of concern

 

Led by Kathleen Goodman, LPC, this supportive and educational group provides parents with practical strategies, professional guidance, and the opportunity to connect with others who are navigating similar challenges.

This group is ideal for parents of middle school and high school girls.
