Ashley Henry is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor who has been working in the field of counseling off and on for the past 10 years. She is excited about helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families discover their strengths, and work through life’s difficulties and transitions.

Ashley earned her master’s degree in counseling from Montclair State University and specializes in anxiety, depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma and PTSD, relationships, and self-esteem. She incorporates various therapeutic modalities into her practice, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the Gottman Method for couples therapy. Ashley’s eclectic approach emphasizes empathy, rapport-building, and tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of her clients.

In addition to her counseling expertise, Ashley has a background in aviation. This experience has provided her with a nuanced understanding of the demands and stresses associated with the aviation industry. As a result, Ashley is one of only two professionals in Georgia recognized as a preferred provider for aviation professionals, highlighting her specialized knowledge and commitment to this unique community.

Ashley is also deeply committed to addressing women's issues, including the challenges associated with pregnancy and the postpartum period. She provides support for women navigating motherhood, from pregnancy-related anxieties to postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression. Her approach takes into account the unique physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of these life stages.

In addition to her broad experience, Ashley specializes in working with children and adolescents, incorporating play therapy techniques to create a safe and supportive environment for their growth and healing. She also focuses on supporting individuals through divorce and has specific training in addressing men's issues. Ashley is dedicated to helping couples strengthen their relationships and has completed the Gottman Method training to enhance her expertise in couples therapy.
