I am honored to serve as a dedicated and compassionate licensed professional counselor with extensive training, publicized research, and experience in guiding individuals through life’s challenges.

My therapeutic approach combines evidence-based practices with a person-centered focus, creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment for my clients to explore healing and develop updated ways of living. How I can provide space and facilitate healing for people is unique, not only based on my style of connecting with clients but also through how I have been gifted with the ability to integrate several types of counseling specialties. This ability allows me to provide the healing clients are looking for.

Working as a trauma researcher and choosing to specialize in treating trauma for the entirety of my career has allowed me the privilege and opportunity to practice the best treatments available for overcoming traumatic experiences. Specializing in all areas of trauma, I also offer treatment that targets lasting relief in the areas of anxiety, acute and ongoing stress, academic stress, and relationship stress.

I believe in the power of safe spaces and tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of clients in a way that is as painless and calm as possible. Healing happens when we have rapport and a sense of safety, which is a priority in my work with clients.

My training includes practice in Rapid Resolution Therapy, Emotional Pain Intervention, Brain Based Hypnotherapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, all of which are meant to provide healing in a timely and progressive manner. I am privileged to be trained in the latest psychoeducation research which teaches us that with the innovative counseling I offer, we can move forward with more clarity, energy, and focus.

My commitment to learning about trauma and being knowledgeable in trauma treatment is evidenced in my publications, including contributions to research such as 'The Ethics of Trauma Mental Health Competency – A Literature Review.' I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
