My name is Jordan and I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia and a Master in Divinity from Emory University. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of challenges, from grief and trauma to anxiety and depression. I'm excited to offer clients a strengths-based, holistic approach to therapy, with the option of integrating spiritual care for those who request it.
A cornerstone of my approach is recognizing that deep suffering and deep joy often coexist—sometimes even in the same breath. I feel privileged to hold space for my clients as they navigate the complexities of life, honoring both their pain and their moments of joy. My work is rooted in gentleness and sincere presence, offering compassionate, empathetic support to clients of all ages and genders. I strive to listen with a whole heart, creating a space where each individual feels truly seen and heard.
I have extensive experience supporting adolescents, teens, and young adults navigating grief and loss, trauma—including harm experienced in religious spaces—and challenges with anxiety and depression. In my practice, I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), all within a Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) framework. My clinical interests include grief, loss (of all kinds including life transitions), body image work, eating disorders, anti-diet culture, spirituality, anxiety, and depression.
In our work together, I hope to serve as a mirror, helping you see your own reflection more clearly, so that you can reconnect with your true self and the world around you. I believe therapy is a space for self-discovery and healing, where you can gain clarity, cultivate inner strength, and build deeper connections with yourself and others.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, traveling, and cooking with and for family and friends. I’m also an avid reader, particularly of thriller novels and memoirs.
Jordan is under the supervision of Kristen Davenport, LCSW.
