Erin is a Marietta native who grew up in the heart of West Cobb. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, building on her foundation in social work with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Georgia—Go Dawgs!
From her time as a Young Life leader, Erin experienced firsthand the power of simply showing up—being a steady, compassionate presence in the lives of kids and teens. That season shaped her deep passion for walking alongside young people as they navigate the ups and downs of growing up. She believes in the importance of building trust, creating space for authenticity, and meeting each client exactly where they are.
As a clinical intern, Erin is especially drawn to working with children and teens ages 3 and up, particularly those facing emotional or behavioral challenges. Whether it’s helping a child learn to manage big feelings, supporting a teen through academic or social stress, or encouraging a young person to find and use their voice, Erin brings patience, empathy, and genuine care into every session.
She is passionate about creating a therapeutic space where young people feel safe, seen, and heard—just as they are. Erin values collaboration and believes in working closely with both clients and caregivers to support emotional growth, build healthy coping strategies, and strengthen communication.
With a warm, relational approach, Erin strives to build meaningful connections with her clients and foster an environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and self-discovery. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside young people and their families on their unique journeys toward healing and resilience. Erin is under the supervision of Sarah Foster, LCSW.
Outside of work and school, Erin loves getting lost in a good book, taking indoor cycling classes, traveling to new places, and spending quality time with her friends and family. She and her husband, Ben, like to get outside whenever they can and are always on the hunt for the next great coffee shop around Atlanta.
