Ada Perez Cole

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

678-310-0358 Ext. 2015

Ada Perez Cole is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and a Certified Life Coach who helps individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, work-life balance, and life transitions. She is passionate about guiding clients to explore their inner selves and past experiences to make lasting, positive changes and achieve greater health and wholeness.

A graduate of Mercer University, Ada believes in the power of self-exploration and reflection on life’s pivotal moments to foster growth and transformation. She is eager to support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and PTSD. Ada uses an eclectic approach to counseling, integrating techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention, Choice Theory, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and parenting. Additionally, she is trained in multicultural counseling and can incorporate Christian-based tools into her practice upon request, offering a compassionate and individualized approach.

Before transitioning into counseling, Ada spent 17 years in public relations and marketing communications, including roles at Turner Broadcasting and for the CDC. This professional experience exposed her to the pressures of corporate life and the challenges of career transitions, giving her a unique perspective on helping clients manage work-life balance and navigate professional stress.

Ada’s passion for personal growth and healing led her to write Anxious Mom, Anxious Child, a memoir and self-help book in which she shares her journey of overcoming anxiety and strategies for women navigating the challenges of balancing their personal and professional lives. Ada’s life coaching experience also continues to complement her therapy work, where she helps clients build self-awareness, set goals, and develop confidence in their personal and professional lives.

In addition to working with families, couples, and adolescents, Ada is committed to providing services to men and women who are struggling to manage competing personal and professional responsibilities through a humanistic approach that encourages deep self-exploration. An important aspect of Ada’s therapy is recognizing the role of spirituality in the healing process. Through an integrative perspective, Ada engages clients in conversations that foster a deeper understanding of their relationship with themselves, while also exploring childhood adverse events that may have shaped their ability to navigate anxiety and other life challenges.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Ada is an active member of Georgia’s Association of Counselors. She enjoys swimming, nature walks, traveling, and staying active. As a mother of a fifteen-year-old and a wife, Ada understands the importance of self-care and healing. She is passionate about helping clients find inner healing, meaning, and purpose through therapy.
